So I asked TUI for the average length, specifically for the 737-800 model (turned out it was the 737 Max 8 I was on) but as that plane is the smallest one I assume this would be the same for other planes in the fleet. One answer I got was 46 inches - which I believe must be when the seat belt is new and the second answer I got was 40 inches.
